In my kids school district I am known as the Box Tops mom. I provide containers to new parents just starting out. I send reminders as one of my duties as the PTA secretary. What many parents don't realize is I know how much saving Box Tops for Education labels can help schools and kids. I think of it as FREE Money for Kids!

When I shop at Walmart I love to go up and down the isles and look for all of the products that have Box Tops for Education labels. They are literally in every aisle. Secretly, in my mind I try and add up all of the money I could earn for my kids schools with all of the labels. Daydreaming about how to make my kids schools great by earning Box Tops for Education™ is probably one of the reasons my shopping trips at Walmart tend to last for a few hours, LOL. I also use that time to come up with new and exciting ways to earn as many BTFE labels as I can. One of my bright ideas was to include the seniors in my community.

In my community we have a very unique recreation center aptly named the Northwest Activity Center. The center has been in our community for almost 90 years. It services seniors, young adults and children. There is a senior women's group that meets every Thursday to play Bingo. The ladies buy in at the beginning of the month and they earn prizes like Kleenex tissues, lotion and other products that can be used in lieu of cash.

Once a month I call Bingo for the Seniors and in exchange they give me all of the BTFE labels they've collected. And, it's A LOT! Last year alone I received over $100 in Box Tops for Education™ labels just from their Kleenex labels. Yes, the senior ladies love their tissues, LOL.

Spending time with the Seniors in my community and receiving Box Tops for Education™ Labels from them to help the kids is a very rewarding experience. Our community has become full circle with each one helping the other. Their are so many ways available to help get your community involved in helping you earn lots of money through the Box Tops for Education™ program.

Go ahead, go out and visit your local community center or speak with the Seniors in your community.
