I Nominated my Alma Mater, Cass Technical High School for the Tyson® Project A+™ Program & Contest #WMTProjectAPlus

Growing up in Detroit, I had the absolute pleasure and privilege to attend Cass Technical High School. Easily noted as Detroit's most famous High School with a list of Alumni that mimics Pop Cultures, who's who.  Even with our impressive list of Alumni because more and more people have moved out of the city the districts enrollment and subsequently funds have diminished drastically.

Each year I find myself needing to be more creative than the last when it comes to finding additional funding for my Alma Mater. While their are programs available to help schools, most are only for k-8, not High Schools. That is, until I find out about the Tyson® Project A+™ Program. Not familiar with the program? When you shop at your local Walmart look for and purchase participating Tyson® Project A+™
products, when you get home clip the label(s) and turn them in to the school of your choice. The school will redeem the labels for cash to purchase whatever they want for the kids/school. Look for participating Tyson Project A+™ products with the labels on them including:
